About Sequence and Enforced Sequence

Sequence allows you to control the order in which content items in a learning program display on the learner's My Training page.

Enforced sequence, when selected, forces the learner to take the content items in the specified order by locking the items that occur later in the sequence.

Sequence and Enforced Sequence Fundamentals

• The default sequence assigned when an item is added to a learning program is not enforced and allows learners to take courses in any order.

• Use the sequence dropdowns to create a display order that is different from the order in which you added the content.

• Check Enforced Sequence to force learners to take content in the assigned sequence.

• More than one item can be assigned the same sequence number. This means that, when enforced sequence is used, the items that share a sequence number open up at the same time and can be taken in any order.
